Shingles Vaccine Extension to Vulnerable over 50’s

We are aware of all the patients eligible for the new shingles vaccination programme and will contact you, if you are in a relevant group, when we have vaccine and availability. The new programme is being phased in over 5-10 years, starting with the most at risk patients. It is not urgent, shingles illness is NOT more common than it was and we will not be booking new people in yet.
