A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. Hightown and Windrush Health Visiting teams have merged and are now called Orchard Health Visiting Team. They are based at Orchard Health Centre, Cope Road, Banbury OX16 2EZ and can be contacted Monday to Friday on 01865 904440 (an answer phone will be in operation when they are not available).
